He discover two enzymes ,the citrato-sintetasa and the piruvato-deshidrogenasa ,wich they allowed to conclude the effective knowledge of Kreb's cycle, and that represents a biological fundamental process in the metabolism of the alive (Vivacius) beings .Severo ochoa realized a series of works that they lead finally to the synthesis of the ADN.

Balmis y Berenguer was born in Alicant on the second of December of 1753, and he deaded the 1819. He was a Spanish military doctor , surgeon honorary of the Carlos's IV court. His name has remembered united to the expedition real philanthropy of the vaccine ( It is known how Balmis's expedition in his honor) that he did in the spanish and Filipinean colonies to extend the smallpox's vaccine, historic milestone in the history of the medicine.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
